Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with at least 3 years of testing experience, including test lab and hardware setup. Experience with two or more technologies such as Java, Python, JavaScript/ TypeScript, NodeJS, JSON, or XML.
Experience writing test plans, test cases, conducting reviews, and generating reports.
Awareness of software development processes and code collaboration tools.
Knowledge of virtualized environments such as VMWare or VM images.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks.
Preferred Skills
Experience in UI/UX design for web or desktop applications (e.g., Figma).
Experience with test management tools such as qTest.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or Jama.
Experience with automation tools like Pywinauto or WebDriverIO.
Familiarity with Rockwell Automation controllers and software tools.
Job Responsibilities
Develop test plans and test cases based on product and software requirements.
Build tests, document results, and report progress.
Perform manual and automated testing using scripting and test tools.
Manage defects by reporting, reproducing, analysing, debugging, and resolving issues.
Participate in reviews of designs, code, test cases, and documentation.
Use automated test tools to ensure functional and regression coverage.
Document issues, test results, and follow up on corrective actions.
Collaborate with peers to prioritize tasks and support the development lifecycle.
Stay updated on advancements in software testing and automation.
