Candidate should have 3 to 4 years of experience software testing or development. Must have strong proficiency in Manual – API (Postman) Testing along with Performance Testing (Jmeter). Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Understanding of Requirement Analysis, Test Planning, Test case Design, Test Execution, and Defect Reporting & Tracking.
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
- Create & execute manual and performance test cases to ensure the quality of software products across different platforms and browsers.
- Identify, report, and track software defects to resolution, utilizing appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Conduct regression testing to validate software changes and updates.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to Functional Testing.
