As a Quality Engineer focusing on manual testing, a typical day involves meticulously verifying that the solution meets the defined requirements and user expectations. This includes designing detailed test cases, executing them carefully, and identifying any inconsistencies or defects. Collaboration with various delivery teams is essential to ensure that the final product is reliable and ready for end users. The role demands a thorough and methodical approach to testing, ensuring that every aspect of the solution functions as intended before release.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/ contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of test documentation to support quality assurance activities.
  • Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on testing processes.
  • Engage proactively with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve testing methodologies and enhance overall product quality.
  • Good To Have Skills: Payments Fundamentals.
  • Strong understanding of manual testing principles and best practices.
  • Experience in designing comprehensive test cases based on user stories and requirements.
  • Ability to identify, document, and track defects effectively using appropriate tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with delivery teams and stakeholders.

Additional Details

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Finastra Fusion Global PAYplus (GPP)
  • This position is based at our Pune office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
