Candidate should have 3 to 5 years of experience in quality assurance, software testing
Mandatory Life Insurance domain experience, especially New Business processing
Exposure to multiple Life Insurance products (added advantage)
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and defect lifecycle
Hands-on API testing (Postman, Swagger) and SQL skills
Experience in an Agile environment, using JIRA and other tools
Good to Have-
Experience with automation tools (Postman automation)
Prior experience in BFSI or the startup ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Test Life Insurance workflows: Quotation, BI, Proposal creation, Payment, Policy Issuance and post issuance management.
Create and execute test plans, test cases, and end-to-end scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
Validate product rules, premium calculations, and risk parameters.
Conduct backend testing using SQL and validate data across systems.
Report defects clearly and work with product & tech teams for quick resolution.
