QA Testing Engineer | Pi Square Technologies | Bengaluru, India

Candidate must have 4 to 8 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance. Strong experience in Vector tools: CANoe, CANape, VFlash, DaVinci Configurator/ Developer. Good hands-on knowledge in ECUTest, Lauterbach Trace32, ETAS INCA, Zenzefi


Familiar with compilers and build tools: Tasking Compiler, CMake, MinGW
Proficiency in Python and CAPL scripting for test automation
Experience in developing, reviewing, and executing test cases and test plans
Solid understanding of embedded systems and automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, UDS)

Good to Have

Exposure to automotive standards like ASPICE, ISO 26262
Knowledge of debugging techniques and code instrumentation
Familiarity with configuration management tools and CI/ CD pipelines

Key Responsibilities-

Perform Software Unit Testing (SWE.4) and Software Integration Testing (SWE.5) as per ASPICE-compliant processes
Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts
Conduct reviews for test cases and test results, ensuring traceability to software requirements
Analyze and debug issues using tools such as CANoe, CANape, Trace32, and ECUTest
Automate test execution and reporting using Python and CAPL scripting
Perform flashing and diagnostic checks using Vector VFlash and other Vector toolchains
Collaborate with development teams to identify defects and drive them to closure
Generate test reports and provide metrics for software quality and coverage.
