We are looking for strong Manual/ Automation/ QA – Test Engineer in the Business Intelligence (BI) domain with ETL testing skills. Solid 2 years as ETL Test Engineer or abov with preferably Microsoft Technologies Vertical Technologies with SSIS/ Power BI/ ETL Testing, Applications Testing (QA/ BI domain environment). Your main job function is to prepare test cases/ execute test cases and report the defects and do the following QA testing activities.
- System Test
- Regression Test
- System Integration Test
- UAT
- BAT
- Pre-Prod &
- Prod Testing
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare test cases
- Execute test plans
- Source to Target data comparisons – using excel or with any custom scripts
- Able to run the Microsoft – SSIS – ETL Jobs/ Orchestrations
- Familiarity in running the other batch job tools like Air Flow, Job Scheduler
- Doing each test phase (System Test/ System Integration Test/ Regression Test/ UAT/ BAT) testing
- Support the test team in the creation of test assets of test phases, relevant project documentation such as BRDs, ADDs, JIRA and supplier documents
- Regression testing and test automation
- Manage and co-ordinate the test execution activities
- Coordinate raising, resolution, release and re-test defects identified
- Ensure that the test team will work closely with 3rd parties to review their test activities
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management
- Clear verbal, written and presentation communication skills
