We are looking for an experienced Manual Test Engineer/ QA Engineer with 6+ years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in manual testing, defect management, API testing, database testing, regression testing, and Agile/ Scrum methodologies. Experience in the Healthcare domain, particularly Billing and Scheduling workflows, is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and end-to-end testing of web applications.
- Test healthcare applications involving Billing and Scheduling workflows.
- Perform cross-browser and UI testing.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools such as Jira.
- Perform SQL/ database testing and validation to verify data accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to investigate and resolve defects.
- Participate in Agile/ Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain test documentation and provide clear test execution and defect reports.
- Contribute to automation testing using Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Identify quality risks proactively and recommend improvements to testing processes.
- Adapt to new technologies, tools, and testing methodologies as required.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of experience as a Test Engineer/ QA Engineer.
- Strong experience in Manual Testing and web application testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in test case, test scenario, and test script preparation.
- Strong experience in Defect Management and Jira.
- Strong SQL and Database Testing/ Validation skills.
- Hands-on experience in API Testing and Postman.
- Strong experience in Regression Testing.
- Good knowledge of Agile/ Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Healthcare domain experience, preferably in Billing and Scheduling.
Good to Have
- Selenium WebDriver experience.
- Knowledge of JUnit/ TestNG.
- Experience developing or maintaining automated test scripts.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification.
- Experience with healthcare workflows such as patient scheduling, billing, claims, payments, or EHR systems.
