We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven Manual Software Tester to ensure the reliability, performance, and usability of our software products. In this role, you will work closely with development and product teams to understand requirements, design effective test strategies, and execute comprehensive manual testing across mobile platforms. Your focus will be on identifying defects early and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-friendly applications.
Skills & Qualifications
1 to 4 years of experience in Manual Testing, including test case creation, execution, and defect reporting.
Good understanding of software development concepts and the SDLC.
Hands-on experience with test management and bug-tracking tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
Well-organized, methodical, and quality-focused approach to work.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
Perform manual testing of mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
Identify, log, track, and verify software defects using bug-tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.
Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain intact after updates or enhancements.
Document test results, defects, and testing activities in clear and comprehensive reports.
Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements and define effective testing strategies.
Set up and manage test environments in alignment with test scenarios and project requirements.
Prepare and maintain test data for various testing cycles.
Provide timely feedback to the development team and support defect resolution and verification.
Participate in occasional client interactions to clarify requirements and ensure quality expectations are met.
Continuously update skills by learning new testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
