We are looking for a Manual Test Engineer with 1 to 4 years of experience in software testing. The candidate must have strong expertise in manual testing, defect reporting, and ensuring high-quality product releases.
Required Skills
Basic Testing Concepts
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Familiarity with different types of testing, such as unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Knowledge of testing methodologies like black-box, white-box, and grey-box testing.
Test Case Development
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test plans.
- Experience with creating and executing test scenarios.
Defect Tracking
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello.
- Skills in logging, tracking, and managing defects throughout the testing process.
Analytical Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and understand issues in software products.
- Ability to think critically and work systematically.
Communication Skills
- Good verbal and written communication to effectively document and report bugs.
- Ability to collaborate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
