We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester with around 4 years of experience in testing custom-developed web and mobile applications. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring application quality through comprehensive functional, regression, usability, and integration testing while working closely with developers, product owners, and project managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents.
- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on requirements.
- Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications (Android & iOS).
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT support testing.
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
- Validate bug fixes and ensure application stability before release.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and QA reviews in Agile environment.
- Perform usability and cross-browser/device compatibility testing.
- Support release validation and production sanity testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Experience testing custom web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience with Agile/ Scrum methodology.
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar).
- Knowledge of API testing concepts (Postman or similar tools preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
- Experience in testing REST APIs.
- Exposure to automation testing concepts (added advantage).
- Experience working in client-facing or support/enhancement projects.
