We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide day-to-day IT support to end users and ensure smooth functioning of desktop, laptop, network, and IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, MS Office, applications, and hardware.
- Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network connectivity issues.
- Manage user accounts, password resets, and access-related issues.
- Perform hardware/software installation, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
- Handle IT incidents and service requests through ticketing tools.
- Coordinate with network, server, and other IT teams for escalations.
- Maintain IT asset and inventory records.
- Ensure timely resolution of user issues as per SLA.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 and MS Office.
- Hardware and desktop troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and ticketing tools.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- ITIL knowledge/ certification will be an added advantage.
