Candidate should have 4+ years of experience in QA Manual Testing with strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle. Must have good hands-on experience with-
- Manual and Functional testing
- API testing
- Integration testing
- Database testing/ SQL
- Middleware testing
- End-to-end testing
- Regression and system testing
- Payment gateway testing
- Good knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, request/ response validation, and API tools such as Postman.
- Strong SQL skills and experience validating data at the database level.
- Experience testing integrations between multiple systems and applications.
- Good understanding of defect management and test management tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end manual testing of web and application-based products.
- Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Conduct API testing and validate request/response data, status codes, error handling, and integrations.
- Perform database testing, including data validation, CRUD operations, queries, and backend data integrity.
- Test middleware and system-to-system integrations to ensure seamless data flow between applications.
- Perform payment gateway testing, including payment success/failure scenarios, refunds, cancellations, retries, transaction status, and reconciliation.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product teams, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis and support defect triaging.
- Validate fixes and conduct regression testing before releases.
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, test planning, and release activities.
- Ensure adequate test coverage and contribute to improving QA processes and standards.
