Candidate should have 6+ years of professional experience in Quality Engineering, QA testing, or software testing, preferably with web-based applications. Strong experience testing web applications, backend APIs, databases, and user interfaces. Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle and defect life cycle.
- Hands-on experience performing functional, regression, integration, exception, negative, and edge-case testing.
- Experience with API testing and a good understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, RapidAPI, or similar tools.
- Ability to navigate and validate data in a SQL database.
- Experience with test automation using one or more tools or technologies such as Selenium or any automation tools

- Ability to clearly communicate defects, risks, test results, and quality concerns to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and switching between projects or priorities as needed.
- Strong ownership mindset, attention to detail, and passion for delivering high-quality products.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to AI-assisted development or productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of prompt engineering and the ability to write clear prompts to generate test cases, automation ideas, SQL queries, API validation scenarios, defect summaries, and documentation drafts.
- Ability to use AI tools responsibly by validating AI-generated outputs before applying them to testing or automation work.
- Experience building or maintaining automated regression test suites.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment processes.
- Experience testing applications involving complex data flows, integrations, or enterprise systems.
