We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Test Engineer specializing in Performance Testing to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, particularly with Selenium and Java, and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our applications. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can analyze requirements, design test cases, and execute performance tests effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute performance test plans and test cases using Selenium with Java.
- Analyze application performance and identify bottlenecks, providing actionable insights for improvement.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and performance requirements.
- Monitor and report on performance testing results, ensuring that all issues are documented and communicated effectively.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and performance considerations.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in performance testing and automation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance are a plus.
- 4 – 6 years of relevant work experience
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficiency in Selenium with Java for automated testing.
- Strong understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies.
- Experience with performance testing tools and frameworks.
- Ability to analyze and interpret performance metrics and logs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with other testing frameworks and tools.
- Experience in Agile/ Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of application performance monitoring tools.
