QA Engineer – Manual Testing | HiLabs Inc. | Pune, India

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in functional testing, strong SQL skills, and hands-on exposure to test automation using Java and Selenium. The candidate will be responsible for validating complex business requirements, performing end-to-end testing, and supporting automation initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform functional, system, integration, and regression testing
  • Analyze BRDs/ requirements and create test cases
  • Execute backend testing using complex SQL queries for data validation
  • Log, track, and retest defects using JIRA or similar tools
  • Support automation execution and maintenance using Java + Selenium
  • Collaborate with Dev, BA, and Product teams in an Agile environment

Desired Profile

  • 3–5 years of Manual Testing experience
  • Strong Functional Testing skills
  • Excellent SQL knowledge (joins, subqueries, data validation)
  • Hands-on or working knowledge of Java + Selenium automation
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and defect management tools

Good To Have

  • BDD (Cucumber/TestNG), Jenkins
  • API testing (Postman)
  • Healthcare/Insurance domain experience
