Metaphi Innovations Pvt. Limited is looking for a Quality Analyst with 1 to 3 years of experience in software testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, test case creation, defect tracking, and API testing.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Hands-on experience with manual testing
- Experience creating test cases and bug reports
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira or similar tools
- Exposure to API testing tools like Postman
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Good to Have
- Basic exposure to automation testing tools (Selenium/ Cypress/ Playwright)
- Experience testing web and mobile applications
- Familiarity with Agile/ Scrum development processes
Key Responsibilities
- Understand product requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools
- Perform functional testing, regression testing, and smoke testing
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman
- Work closely with developers and product teams to reproduce and resolve issues
- Validate bug fixes and verify application functionality before release
