We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester with hands-on experience in API testing to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing test plans and test cases to ensure high-quality software delivery across web and backend systems.
Role & Responsibility
Analyze business requirements and convert them into test cases and scenarios
Design and execute test cases for functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar
Log and track bugs using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure the timely resolution of issues
Contribute to test documentation and reporting.
Skills & Qualifications
Any Graduate/ Post Graduate in Engineering (BE/ B.Tech) or MCA
3+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing
Strong experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or Rest Assured (Manual)
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and bug life cycle
Familiarity with test management tools
Basic understanding of databases and the ability to perform SQL queries
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and documentation skills
Automation experience is good to have.
