We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong expertise in Manual Testing and a solid understanding of STLC processes. The ideal candidate should demonstrate ownership, discipline, and thoroughness in testing, with the confidence to represent the QA perspective with clarity and authority.
Key Responsibilities
Execute end-to-end manual testing across web and/or application platforms, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Develop, review, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test data aligned with functional requirements.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
Identify defects, document them clearly with complete details, and track them through resolution.
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure timely defect fixes and validation.
Represent QA perspectives during discussions with clarity and confidence.
Take ownership of assigned modules and ensure testing timelines and quality standards are met.
Follow established QA processes and workflows without deviation unless formally directed.
Support database testing by validating backend data integrity and consistency.
Maintain test documentation and ensure traceability across requirements and test cases.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.
Hands-on experience in Manual Testing and Functional Testing.
Experience using Jira or similar defect tracking tools.
Solid experience in Database Testing (writing basic SQL queries for validation).
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Ability to clearly articulate defects with detailed steps, expected vs actual results, and supporting evidence.
Proven ability to take ownership and work independently with minimal supervision
