Candidate should have 2+ years of experience in manual software testing, quality assurance. Experience in all phases of testing: System Integration (SIT), Functional, User Acceptance (UAT), Regression, Sanity, E2E (End to End) testing, and System testing. Experience in writing and executing test cases, reviewing and maintaining test scripts, to ensure quality applications. Risk analysis and test status reporting using JIRA.
Ability to develop test strategies, plans, scenarios.
Ability to reproduce production defects.
Excellent knowledge in conditioning data for preparation of test case scenarios.
Automation Testing- Ability to write basic scripts
Web Services and Micro Services testing (SOAP UI and Postman)
Ability to create requests and validate responses.
SQL, Database testing
Ability to validate data using basic SQL queries.
Test Management Tools (JIRA, TestRail, ALM)
Proficiency in Test Case Management, Test Execution, and Defect Tracking using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or ALM.
Ability to create and manage Test Plans and Test Reports.
Key Responsibilities-
Ability to communicate with business or IT stakeholders and team members to discuss testing for projects and potential production defects and manage clients expectations.
Attending daily scrum stand\\-ups and provide daily testing status reporting and keep Project Manager \\/ Scrum Master informed on all issues and progress.
Helping Product Owners to refine user stories.
Sizing user stories.
Write and execute test cases for user stories using Jira. Document actual results and ensure they align with testing outlined in user stories. This includes identifying, analyzing, and documenting defects, errors, and inconsistencies in application outputs, online screens and content by comparing test execution to specifications and documentation.
