Candidate must have proficiency in programming languages such as Java for scripting automated tests. Experience with automation tools like Selenium and Jmeter. Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies, including Agile frameworks and regression testing. Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify potential issues affecting user experience. Ability to document and troubleshoot errors effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop automation scripts to test software applications and systems effectively.
Execute automated and manual test cases and analyze results to identify defects or performance issues.
Collaborate with QA analysts, developers, and stakeholders to create effective test plans and strategies.
Monitor and document defects, report bugs, and assist in troubleshooting issues.
Conduct post-release or post-implementation testing to ensure software stability.
Review system specifications and ensure testing aligns with defined standards and procedures.
Maintain logs and documentation of testing phases, results, and defects.
