We’re seeking an experienced Java Backend Lead to lead our backend development team. You’ll design, develop, and deliver high-performance backend systems, mentor team members, and drive technical decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead backend development team and drive technical decisions
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java
- Mentor and guide team members to improve skills and delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, QA, DevOps)
- Ensure best practices, code quality, and technical debt management
- Drive innovation and improvement in backend systems
Experience & Skills
- 3-6 years of experience in Java backend development
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring, and microservices architecture
- Experience leading teams and driving technical decisions
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with reactive programming (e.g., Reactor, Akka)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka)
