Software Testing Engineer   




  Vela Technologies India Pvt. Limited is looking for Software Testing Engineer



Job Description

Candidate should have 2 to 4 years of experience in software development test automation.
Hands on experience in CI CD tools like Azure DevOps, MSBuild, Jenkins, SonarQube.
Experienced in functional test automation using Selenium or React testing library.
Experience with one or more programming languages: C#, Node.JS/JavaScript, YAML.
Experienced in RESTful API testing.

Must have rxcellent written and communication skills.
Strong fundamentals: OOAD, design patters, coding best practices.
Hands-on with version control systems like Git.
Familiar in integrating test results with CI tools such as MSBuild, Jenkins, SonarQube.

Job Responsibilities-

Write and maintain automated test suites for functional and performance testing.
Collaborate with Product Managers and development team in requirements elicitation and understanding.
Review and update acceptance criteria for non-functional requirements. Benchmark specific performance parameters.
Set up test environments as required including client and web applications, services, and databases.
Integrate automated test suites with CI and CD (Azure DevOps)

Design write highly maintainable test code by following industry best practices to automate prioritized test scenarios.
Prepare Automation Test Plans for Service Level Tests, Integration Tests and UI tests as needed.
Participate in project events such as planning, reviews, and retrospective meetings etc.
