  Emersons Labs Limited is looking for Automation Testing Engineer



Job Description

Candidate should have a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Computer Science, Electronic and Communication, Electrical Engineering, related engineering discipline or equivalent with 3 to 5 years experience with atleast 3 years in test automation

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE-

Experienced in Open source testing tools used for building automated tests
Experience on scripting languages like Python, PowerShell & VB scripting
Experience in Windows Operating Systems
Experience in Black box and White box testing
Work closely with Development teams, drive test plan/ specification reviews for assigned features.
Strong test mentality exhibiting excellent analytical problem solving skills and strong debugging skills
Ability to present issues found in testing to the Product Development Engineers
Knowledge on software development life cycle (SDLC)
Good English verbal and written communication skills

Other Advantages-

Experience with the Agile methodologies
Experience in configuring or operating DCS, PLC or SCADA
Knowledge on development languages (C, C#, etc.)
Knowledge of virtualization, configuration of CISCO switches and routers
Knowledge in discrete and continuous controllers, HMI, bus technologies and field instrumentation
Familiarity with the power generation and/or water/ wastewater industries.
