  OptimusBT Infotech Private Limited is looking for Software Testing Engineer



Job Description

Candidate should be BE Graduate with 2 to 4 years of experience with testing client-server software. Must have strong team interaction capabilities and communication between QA and development. Ability to work collaboratively with a team in an Agile development environment is desired. Leadership skills are a must

Should have good knowledge of Performance Testing.
Should be able to mentor team members and guide them on ideal testing procedures in the client-server environment
Able to demonstrate leadership in applying release processes, test methodologies, defect tracking
Excellent understanding of the client-server architecture
Excellence in software engineering practices
Proven ability to plan, schedule, and deliver quality software

Primary Responsibilities-

Analyzes and understands the project`s environment, architecture, and interdependencies to determine and apply appropriate test methodologies and cases relative to applications being tested. Create and maintain deliverables including test plans, test cases, and test data. Set up test environments and build out interdependent testbeds

Lead the planning and execution of functional, system, and performance testing of products across all platforms to test various features at various phases of product development and release cycles. Assists developers in reproducing problems and getting them resolved; participates in a design activity with other programmers on technical aspects relating to testing, including functional specifications, design parameters, feature enhancements, and alternative solutions.
