  Harman Connected Services Corporation is looking for Android App Developer



Job Description

Candidate must be expert in Android Application design development in Kotlin Java.
Expert in Android App UI development
Experience in MVVM model
Experience in developing responsive applications scalable to different display resolutions
Should be able to adapt quickly to new technologies.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Behaviors-

Preference if have knowledge in Android system middleware
Preference if experienced with cloud communication including OAuth, REST APIs
Preference if experienced with audio Android music player, specifically Exoplayer
Preference if have good understanding of App communication via jni, binder, sockets
Advantage if have knowledge of automotive, e-commerce domains
Advantage if can do native C/ C++ programming
Advantage if experienced with cross-platform tools like ReactNative, Flutter, Unity, Javascript
Advantage if experienced with 2D/3D graphics using openGL
Advantage if experienced with Jetpack Compose

Eligibility Requirements-

Willingness to travel if needed to support a project.
Willingness to work in an office.
2-5 years of related experience is expected.
Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.

Job Responsibility-

Be up to date on latest Android features/ concepts, automotive industry trends
Design and Develop the Android application as an individual/ team contributor for our EPIC projects.
Integrate features/ libraries from other concepts/ demos.
Integrating the application into the system.
Work collaboratively with the global EPIC organization and Harman s engineering teams.
Work with QA (Test teams) in defining the test-cases test strategy.
Handover the work done as part of the concept/demo to the global engineering team including documentation.
