Software Testing Engineer    




  Allegion India Private Limited is looking for Software Testing Engineer



Job Description

Candidate should have Engineering Bachelor`s or Master`s Degree with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Test Automation of API (Backend/ Cloud Microservices). Familiarity with Pytest or similar framework. Experience in working with Databases (able to write SQL Queries) is required. Good knowledge of QA principles and best practices (White-box/ Black-box/ Regression/ Smoke testing and so on).

Experience with Web test automation (Selenium or alternative) is a plus.
Experience with Windows Desktop UI test automation (Test complete or alternative) is a plus.
Experience with BDD frameworks is a plus.
Experience with Postman is a plus.

Should have Excellent communication, written skills and Analytical skills.
Experience in working with a Docker is a plus.
Experience in working with Azure DevOps is a plus.
Knowledge of Git, Jira, Confluence is a plus.
ISQBT certified is a plus.

Well-versed in native applications and cloud apps testing skills.
Good hands on experience in backend and front-end testing.
Good knowledge of MSSQL database and have expertise in writing DB queries.
Have expert knowledge in testing concepts, test process, test design skills and testing techniques.
Basic networking knowledge is a must
Has experience in functional and nonfunctional testing
Active member of a highly skilled and motivated testing team
Work closely with product teams and product management to understand requirements and translate them in to test cases which capture all possible test conditions.
Interfacing with overseas counterparts frequently to resolve issues.
Must demonstrate flexibility in work hours to meet important customer deliverables and project deadlines as required
Worked in Agile environment

Desired Skills Abilities:

ISQBT certified is a plus.
Experience in hardware, firmware and software integration testing
Has exposure in performing security and performance testing
Good system level debugging skills are an advantage.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects to meet schedules in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Willing to travel across geographical boundaries based on the business need.
