Job Description



The Cloud Learning Services Publication Team is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to support our growing Content Production and Learning Experience Design team. Candidate must have Bachelor`s degree or equivalent with 3+ years software development experience (preferably in learning technology or localization)

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects in a large company atmosphere
Ability to understand technical tools (specifically used for learning) and use and relevance to our stakeholders. Familiarity with tools such as Git or similar version control systems, docker, and YAML authoring or markdown, as well as experience authoring e-learning courses, preferably on Coursera, Pluralsight, or using the Evolve authoring tool are preferred.
Ability to work well as a member of a highly integrated team composed of technical members.

Key Deliverables-

Completed, peer-reviewed, course YAML files submitted to Github repository.
Completed identified audit checks for each course YAML.
Incorporate feedback into YAML after Google review of YAML.
Create/update courses on Coursera based on YAML/coursemap files
Incorporate feedback into Coursera content following Google Review of content
Scraped content, ready for localization or deployment to a different platform
Deployed courses, ready for Google review to publish
Ensure all deliverables are in compliance with Google security requirements (https://g.co/partner-security ) and up to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and AA accessibility standards.
