  Takneeki Infocom Private Limited is looking for Software Testing Engineer



Job Description

Hiring for client, leading Bank of India for Hyderabad Location

Candidate should have experience in API interfaces testing, using REST API endpoints with both Manual and Automation,
Hands-on experience with SQL and a fair understanding of Relational database.
Hands-on experience with API Development & testing tools [POSTMAN or Swagger Hub]
Strong experience in Software Testing for multi-tier Web based Software or API testing or Mobile (iOS/Android) applications testing or Micro-service applications with some exposure to an Agile development environment,
Test automation architect with strong skills in designing and implementing automation frameworks such as Cucumber Framework (BDD) and Selenium with Java,
Ability to quickly resolve maintenance issues that might arise in scripts already automated
Understanding of dependency between automation frameworks and deployment environments, and quickly align scripts for various environments
Strong development-oriented skill specifically in scripting with Python, Perl, Java script etc.

Roles and Responsibilities-

Responsible for APIs and product testing
Updating QA/Project manager regularly about the progress of testing activities and escalate issues immediately
Ability to work against challenging release deadlines while preserving the highest quality of deliverable is a must;
Flexibility in working hours for interactions with customers at various time zones would be a required attribute;
A good understanding of execution of automated test scripts, ability to analyze and report application defects, and ownership of defects through its life cycle is important;
Should handle entire Software Test Life Cycle Process;
Ability to understand problems in Software, isolate as need and file a defect with clear / detailed instruction;
Ability to understand application functionality, prepare and execute test cases using a variety of tools including Excel, Test Pad, Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence etc.,)

Added Advantage-

Prior experience in DevOps (handling Development, Operations, QA and Security Teams);
Experience with Cloud-native apps testing against AWS, Azure, GCP or any cloud based environment;
Knowledge on Containers based testing with Docker;
Deployment via Kubernetes or testing using the same;
Experience of working in BFSI services testing will be added advantage
Knowledge on REST API QA using Swagger, Postman or related tools is added advantage;
