  Deloitte Consulting India Pvt. Limited is looking for Java Back End Developer



Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Engineer with expertise in Java (11+), Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containerization, messaging systems, and database integration. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services that power our applications.

Desired Qualifications-

Bachelor`s or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent
Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
Knowledge of API security and authentication (OAuth2, JWT)
Exposure to container orchestration and service mesh technologies

Must have strong proficiency in Java 11+ and Spring Boot.
Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).
Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ for messaging.
Solid understanding of database integration with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
Proficient in writing tests using JUnit and Mockito.
Familiarity with CI/ CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Good understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

Job Responsibilities-

Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure backend services using Java 11+, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices deployed on Kubernetes and Docker.
Integrate with messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ for asynchronous communication.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure code quality.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile ceremonies.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on performance and reliability.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
