  Interra InfoTech India Private Limited is looking for Technical Support Engineer



Job Description



The support engineer is expected to provide Level 1 process based certification support primarily through emails and limited support through online meetings/troubleshooting sessions. Engineer needs to work with VMware partners to process their certification requests, find the actual root cause in case of issues faced by them during the Input Output/ Hardware Certification.

The key responsibilities include:

Managing service requests, routing requests, logging/ tracking service requests received via customers, seeking required approvals and listing products on Hardware Compatibility List.
Coordinating with Level 2 Support Team and Customer Engineering teams for workarounds.
Proactively monitor Service tickets, Bugzilla PRs, Slack Channels and Email alerts.
Work in a support environment in IST hours and support US hours. business hours.

The support engineer should have a keen eye for details and strictly adhere to the processes outlined by the customer.
Possess good written communication skills for drafting professional emails, providing clear and concise progress updates online, as well as following up online for updates that clearly define next steps for the recipients.
Possess verbal communication skills enabling them to interact, converse in small groups and participate in daily internal stand-up meetings.
They should be able to understand information being shared and be able to discuss any project related specific issue clearly
