QA Engineer (Manual Testing)   




  Infinite Locus Private Limited is looking for QA Engineer (Manual Testing)



Job Description

As a Manual QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will be responsible for thoroughly testing applications, identifying bugs, and working closely with developers and other stakeholders to maintain a high-quality user experience.

Key Requirements-

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Should have 1 to 3 years of experience as a QA Tester or in a similar role.
Strong ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and regression testing.
Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., qTest, Zephyr).
Working knowledge of SQL with the ability to write and execute basic queries to validate data.
Experience using Postman or similar tools for basic API testing and validation.

Preferred Qualifications-

Experience in testing both mobile and web-based applications.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA and test case repositories.
Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
Basic knowledge of automation testing concepts and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG).
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Job Responsibilities-

Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements.
Collaborate with QA engineers and developers to create effective test strategies and plans.
Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
Evaluate product functionality and report discrepancies based on specifications.
Document test phases, issues, and results with detailed logs.
Identify, record, and track bugs using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
Help troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis in collaboration with the development team.
Conduct thorough post-release and post-implementation testing.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
