Senior QA Engineer - Manual Testing   




  IRIS Solutions (India) Private Limited is looking for Senior QA Engineer - Manual Testing



Job Description

Candidate must have strong experience in Manual Testing involving Requirement Analysis, Test Design & Test Execution in any Test Management tool (qTest preferable). Should have knowledge in Banking domain - Capital Markets will be highly preferable with special focus on Payments. Knowledge in Database Testing and API Testing.

Must be able to understand environment set-up, deployment process and reading application logs
Must be able to analyze production issues, reproduce in lower env and perform RCA
Able to coordinate with BA, Dev and Production Support Team
Experience in Automation Testing will be good to have

Key Responsibilities-

Analyze user stories, product requirements, and acceptance criteria to design and develop comprehensive test cases.
Capable to write medium complexities SQL queries for Data validation
Conduct manual testing of web application features across various functionalities and user flows.
Identify, reproduce, document, and report software defects using a bug tracking tool like Jira.
Participate in daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning sessions to provide testing insights and feedback.

Collaborate with developers to understand code changes and ensure proper regression testing.
Stay up-to-date on the latest manual testing methodologies and best practices.
Contribute to a culture of quality by advocating for testing throughout the development process.
Preferred Data Migration Testing experience
Knowledge of Gherkin format of test cases creation
Agile methodology - process and ceremonies
Must have excellent communication skills
