QA Engineer (Manual Testing)   




  Alice Blue Financial Services Pvt. Limited is looking for QA Engineer (Manual Testing)



Job Description

Candidate should have 2 to 5 years of experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications
Good understanding of automation testing concepts and tools (Selenium, Appium, TestNG, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
Knowledge of test management tools like TestRail, QTest, or similar
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC)
Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing
Exposure to API testing using Postman or similar tools is a plus
Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java for automation.
Hands-on experience with performance and security testing.
Certification in software testing (ISTQB or equivalent) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Assist in the creation and execution of automated test scripts using Selenium or similar automation tools.
Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.
Ensure compliance with best testing practices and quality standards.
Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, providing input on quality assurance strategies.
Continuously enhance testing methodologies and automation frameworks.
