Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our team and focus on the UI Construct library project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, with specific expertise in web components and their implementation across various product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for web components in the Construct library. Perform thorough manual testing of web components, ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. Identify, document, and track bugs using our issue tracking system. Collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues and improve component quality. Contribute to the development of automated testing strategies and scripts. Evaluate and provide feedback on the user interface and user experience aspects of web components. Stay updated with the latest web technologies and testing methodologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5-7 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on web applications and components. Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with web component development and testing. Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools. Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with component libraries or design systems. Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular). Understanding of accessibility standards and testing practices. Experience with visual regression testing tools (e.g., Chromatic, Percy)
