  Planit Testing (India) Private Limited is looking for Lead Engineer/ Performance Testing



Job Description

As an Engineer/ Lead, you will consult to our top tier client base, covering all areas of the testing lifecycle in multiple domains. Knowledge and expertise on all software delivery methodologies and test processes, you will use your testing capability to deliver large scale projects on schedule and to the highest quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

6-13 years of experience in performance testing within the banking or payments domain.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, and Locust.
Strong experience in AWS/ Azure, particularly for distributed performance testing.
Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and analysing test results.
In-depth knowledge of New Relic or similar monitoring tools for performance monitoring.
Strong expertise in CI/CD integration using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo.
Proficiency in Java or Python for customizing performance test scripts and creating utilities.

Familiarity with service virtualization concepts and tools like OSV and SPLight.
Extensive experience with version control tools such as GitHub or GitLab.
Ability to write clear test strategies, test plans, and test reports for performance testing.
Experience in batch job performance testing and optimization.
Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Good to have TOSCA experience.
Experience with Linux, Docker & Kubernetes is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and conduct performance testing for mission-critical applications and systems using industry-standard tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, and Locust.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive test strategies and test plans for performance assessments.
Ensure proper monitoring and performance analysis using New Relic and other monitoring tools.
Integrate performance testing processes within the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo.
Build custom utilities and enhance performance testing processes using Java or Python.
Design, implement, and maintain distributed performance testing in AWS/ Azure environments.

Develop and execute SQL queries to validate performance metrics and test results.
Perform service virtualization using tools such as OSV and SPLight.
Prepare and maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Analyse batch job performance to ensure optimal throughput and reliability.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to assess and improve system performance across multiple domains, including banking and payments systems.
Collaborate with development and operations teams for efficient integration of performance testing into Agile workflows using Jira and QTest.
