Quality Analyst (Software Testing)   




  Fincart Finvest Private Limited is looking for Quality Analyst (Software Testing)



Job Description

The Quality Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications by developing and executing both automated and manual tests. This role requires close collaboration with the development team to identify and address defects early in the software development lifecycle.

Educational Background:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Work Experience:
2 to 5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on both automation and manual testing.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP)
Manual testing techniques
Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python)

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Agile/ Scrum methodologies.
Familiarity with CI/ CD tools and pipelines.
Knowledge of SQL and databases.
ISTQB or similar certification.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for manual testing. Execute these test plans and document results.

Automation Testing:
Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

Defect Identification and Reporting:
Identify defects and inconsistencies and provide detailed reports to the development team for resolution.

Collaboration:
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that testing processes are integrated into the overall development process.

Test Environment Setup:
Configure test environments as required by the testing scenarios.

Performance Testing:
Conduct performance and load testing to assess application responsiveness and stability under varying loads.

Regression Testing:
Ensure that new releases of the software do not negatively affect existing functionality by conducting regression tests.

Continuous Improvement:
Proactively suggest enhancements to testing processes, frameworks, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
