  Deutsche Bank AG | Investment Banking is looking for Senior QA/ Testing Engineer



Job Description

The QA & Testing Engineer works with the test team to develop testing strategies and devise test plans in order to ensure that applications meet business requirements and maintain Deutsche Bank`s high quality standards. The QA & Testing Engineer takes a lead role in the establishment or execution of one or more test specialties for a larger testing unit or programme.

The QA & Testing Engineer identifies the tasks and resources needed to ensure that their specialised portion of the testing process meets software quality requirements prior to release into a live environment. The QA & Testing Engineer may specialise in a specific area of the testing process such as test automation, performance testing, testing process, test environments, test data provisioning. In this context the QA & Testing Engineer will specialise in relevant tools such as Performance Centre, Quick Test Professional, Quality Centre/ ALM and Jira. Alternately the QA and Testing Engineer may possess or demonstrate specialist Business Testing knowledge or exceptional business/ functional expertise.

Work Experience/ Exposure:

Overall IT experience of 7+ years with 4+ years experience in UI Automation Testing, API testing with Java
Sound knowledge of below technical stack (must or equivalent):
Java (must), Selenium, Gradle/ Maven, API testing (Rest Assured/ JMeter/ Postman)
CI/CD using Jenkins or Teamcity
Hands-on experience working on ALM, Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket
Good experience in designing and implementation of testing frameworks (automation)
Building the capability of test results insights, reporting
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Ability to manage the expectations of stakeholders
Passion about sharing knowledge and best practice
Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix organizations
Needs to be a self-starter with significant ability to undertake initiatives.
Strong interpersonal / good negotiations skills are required.

Education | Certification (Recommended):

Any Graduate, Postgraduate from an accredited college or university
Software Technology tools (Java, Selenium, API testing, CI/ CD Teamcity/ Jenkins, Test Management ALM, Defect Management- JIRA, Confluence)
Systems Development Lifecycle

Skills Required:

Ability to express technical concepts in language accessible to a non-technical audience.
Experienced in Automation Testing using Selenium, Java and API testing
Knowledge of CI/ CD tools such as Jenkins, Teamcity
Self-motivated, thrives in the ambiguity that comes with a lean and agile team.
Good documentation skills.
Ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders and functions.
Able to work and co-ordinate with product vendors
