  Flatworld Solutions Private Limited is looking for Manual Testing Engineer



Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on the testing of Bluetooth and firmware-based products, ensuring high-quality standards and optimal functionality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, Bluetooth technologies, and a proven track record in defect tracking and test documentation.

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of Bluetooth standards, protocols, and technologies.
Proficient in manual testing methodologies.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Quality Center.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA manual testing with a focus on Bluetooth and firmware.

Preferred Skills:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Experience with automated testing tools or scripting (e.g., Python, Shell scripts).
Previous experience with mobile application testing in Bluetooth-connected environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Test Planning and Execution:

Develop and execute detailed manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Perform system-level testing to ensure Bluetooth functionality, interoperability, and reliability.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and compatibility testing.

2. Bluetooth Testing:

Execute Bluetooth protocol testing, including device pairing and communication.
Validate Bluetooth functionality across various devices, OS versions, and hardware configurations.
Test Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) functionality and range, ensuring compliance with Bluetooth SIG standards.

3. Defect Tracking and Reporting:

Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA.
Collaborate with development teams to investigate and reproduce issues.
Provide detailed defect reports with reproduction steps.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and review meetings.
Act as a key communicator between QA and other departments.

5. Test Documentation:

Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
Maintain test environments for accurate test execution.

6. Continuous Improvement:

Improve testing processes and methodologies.
Provide feedback on product design based on test findings and customer use cases.

7. API Testing in Mobile Environments:

Test for network conditions, device limitations, and data handling in mobile-specific scenarios.
