Performance Testing Engineer   




  Infogain (India) Private Limited is looking for Performance Testing Engineer



Job Description

Candidate should have 4 to 8 years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
Proficiency with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, Neoload, BlazeMeter, etc.
Strong understanding of performance metrics such as response time, throughput, latency, resource utilization, and system capacity.

Hands-on experience with CI/ CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) and test automation frameworks.
Experience in testing web services and APIs (REST/ SOAP) for performance.
Working knowledge of databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), operating systems, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud-based performance testing and monitoring.
Exposure to performance profiling tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic).
Knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as Java, Python, or Shell for custom test automation.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities-

Collaborate with stakeholders to define performance testing requirements.
Design, develop, and implement performance test plans, strategies, and test cases.
Identify key performance indicators and performance acceptance criteria.
Execute load, stress, volume, and endurance tests on web and enterprise applications.
Analyze system behaviour under load, identify bottlenecks, and provide optimization recommendations.
Simulate large-scale workloads and analyze system performance in different environments (cloud, on-premise)

Design and execute performance tests using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, Neoload, etc.
Automate performance tests and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline.
Configure performance test environments and simulate traffic.
Analyze performance test results and metrics like response time, throughput, memory/CPU usage, etc.
Diagnose performance issues and assist in tuning applications and databases.
Prepare detailed performance test reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.

Work closely with developers, architects, and system engineers to resolve performance-related issues.
Provide mentoring and guidance to junior performance testers.
Participate in architectural reviews, code reviews, and performance tuning initiatives.
