Job Description

We at IMRIEL are looking for a passionate Software Test Engineer to join our talented team in the design and development of the best Web, SaaS and Mobile/ Tablet application projects. You will be a part of an agile development team involved in every step of the product development process, from specification to design, prototyping, architecture, development and launch.

What you`ll be doing-

Work on the latest tools and technologies.
Work along with a group of passionate problem solvers.
Observe existing patterns and recognize ways to change them and improve the product & development methodologies.
Create test cases, write test scripts, automate whatever possible, perform load/stress tests for existing or new projects.
Work very closely with the team of other QA & Software Developers.
Focus on the quality of the delivery

What you need: Basic Skills

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
1-5 years of testing experience of Web & Mobile applications.
Good experience in writing Test cases, preparing Test suites & plans.
Demonstrated understanding of Agile (SCRUM) techniques.
Experience working in any of bug tracking tools JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail etc
You have strong analytical skills and care about how your work gets done.
Experience in Test Driven Development.
Must have good communication skills in English.
Attention to detail.
Eager to learn, no matter how successful you might already be!

Key Responsibilities-

Creating test cases for Web and Mobile/ Tablet applications.
Review and analyze system specifications.
Collaborate with QA Engineers/ Developers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
Generate charts/ reports of the tests..
Work on Load, Stress and Performance Testing of the applications.
Evaluate product code according to specifications.
Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
Report bugs and errors to development teams.
Help troubleshoot issues.
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Good to know:

Knowledge of any automation tool eg Selenium, Cypress, Protractor, etc
Performance test using JMeter, Flood.io, etc
Experience of Browser Stack, Lamdatest, etc
Experience in Junit/ NUnit/ Page Object Framework, etc
Knowledge of DevOps.
