QA (Manual Testing Engineer)   




  nGenue Software India Private Limited is looking for QA (Manual Testing Engineer)



Job Description

Candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 6+ years of experience in testing complex applications. Must have strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)

Good knowledge on at least one programming language, SQL and database queries.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic understanding of API testing and techniques.

Key Responsibilities-

Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing features.
Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Conduct thorough testing to identify potential issues and ensure software meets specified requirements.
Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and change control activities to provide input from a testing perspective.
Prepare test data and environments to facilitate effective testing.
Ensure all issues are accurately reported, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
Provide detailed test reports and summaries to stakeholders.
Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
