QA Engineer (Manual Testing)   




  TruKKer Technologies Private Limited is looking for QA Engineer (Manual Testing)



Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The Manual Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing. This role involves executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating with the development team to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse and understand business requirements, technical specifications, and use cases to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Perform manual testing on web, mobile, and desktop applications to ensure the software meets business and technical requirements.
Identify, document, and track software defects in the bug tracking system.
Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand system functionality and resolve defects.
Conduct regression testing to verify that existing functionalities work as intended after new changes.
Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and other activities to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
Create and maintain test documentation including test cases, test plans, test scripts, and test reports.
Execute different types of testing including functional, usability, regression, performance, and compatibility testing.
Provide detailed reports on test results and communicate findings to the development team and management.
Stay updated with new testing tools and test strategies.

Qualifications/ Experience:

Bachelors Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience between 2 to 4 years in Manual testing and also API testing.
Proven experience as a Manual Tester or in a similar QA role.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time efficiently.
Good Testing experience in web apps, Mobile apps (iOS and Android)
Production support monitor

Preferred Skills:

Experience with test management tools such as JIRA or similar.
Basic knowledge of SQL/ MONGO and experience with database testing.
Understanding of basic programming concepts.
Familiarity with automation tools and the ability to write simple automation scripts is an advantage.
