  Interactive Brokers Inc. (NASDAQ:IBKR) is looking for Senior Frontend Developer



Job Description

This is an opportunity to develop performant and scalable SPAs for our many brokerage platforms. You will collaborate closely with other engineers, product managers, and our design team to deliver brokerage web app applications to our diverse client base of over 2 million users.

What will be your responsibilities within IBKR:

Design and build scalable web applications within the VueJs ecosystem (VueJs, Vuex, Pinia, Vite, Cypress, webpack)
Owning and building high-traffic applications with a focus on speed and user experience.
Collaborating with colleagues and peers to ideate, plan, and organize large-scale projects.
Contribute and help maintain our company-wide Vue UI Component Library
Aid in Vue3 transition
Set direction and partner with other frontend engineers to implement new technologies
Work with a team of intelligent, intense and fast-moving co-workers.

Which skills are required:

Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Computer Science or related area
3+ years of commercial software development experience with an emphasis on single-page web app development
Hands-on experience with at least one JavaScript framework - React.js/Vue.js/Angular.js (we are Vue.js fans, so Vue.js is a plus!)
Highly proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS/ LESS
Maintain high code quality standards, functional specification documentation, and deliverables.
Experience integrating 1st and 3rd party APIs
Experience working with Webpack and Vite
A proactive and enthusiastic attitude and be technically oriented.
The ability to pay attention to detail

To be successful in this position, you will have the following:

Excellent collaboration and communication (Verbal and written) skills.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills.

This role`s anticipated base salary range is $160,000 to $180,000 annually based on skill`s and experience. The offered salary is just part of the total compensation package. In addition to a competitive salary, the company offers both a discretionary cash bonus and stock award as well as a wide range of benefits, including health care, tuition reimbursement and much more
