  Applied Materials (Nasdaq: AMAT) is looking for Technical Support Engineer



Job Description

As a Software(Tech) Support Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding and learning the Product domain and Software. You are required to support the software team for multiple products and utilize your experience to build technical capability within the team. As a Software support engineer, you need to interface with multiple stakeholders each with different disciplines and work in a matrix organization.

Qualification/ Experience-

5-8 years of experience in SW technical support team in complex systems, as Tier 3 or experience in DevOps/ QA/ Application interested in support role
Bachelor`s Degree / Master degree in Engineering with CE/ EE background and 6+ years of experience will be an added advantage
Expected to be proficient in complex systems troubleshooting and provide technical support.
Willingness to travel upto 40%
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Expected to be good at problem-solving and troubleshooting

Dedicated and Self motivated to drive internal projects
Willingness to be flexible in working hours
Team player with good communication and collaboration skills
Excellent English - verbal and written
Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments and support team members to deliver on expectations
Proven experience in learning and understanding multi-disciplinary, large scale systems.
