Senior QA/ Testing Engineer   




  NCR Voyix Corporation (NYSE: VYX) is looking for Senior QA/ Testing Engineer



Job Description

Candidate should have a Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related field
10+ years of experience in Software Testing or similar role
10+ years of experience of working in an agile, fast-paced environment
Have a deep understanding of QA and understand the uses and methods of testing
Excellent knowledge in testing skills (design test plan and test strategy, writing test cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs)
Critical thinker, problem-solving skills, decisive
Team player, Good time-management skills, Great interpersonal and communication skills

A minimum of 7 years of experience in software design and development
Deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
Strong development, debugging and troubleshooting skills
Good understanding of test frameworks
Excellent written, verbal communication skills. Able to work in teams and collaborative fashion.

Languages/ Technologies-

Node.js using JavaScript, TypeScript, Cypress
Bitbucket/ JIRA/ GIT Workflow

Duties & Responsibilities-

Test and prove that the software meets major architectural requirements
Prove for scalability and performance of a software
Ensuring the quality of the system as a whole
Work with hardware/ firmware/ platform/ application developers and validation engineers
Develop and automate tests for software validation

Prepare file defect reports and report test progress
Lead, mentor a team consisting of Test Engineers
Create & review test plan
Review test strategies and see all the various kinds of testing like functional, performance etc., are getting covered
