QA Engineer (Manual Testing)   




  X-YUG Technologies Private Limited is looking for QA Engineer (Manual Testing)



Job Description

Candidate should have a Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, or similar field (preferred)
2-4 years of experience as a Manual Tester or similar QA role.
Strong understanding of software testing methods, tools, and techniques.
Experience creating test plans, cases, and scripts from documents.
Pro with issue-tracking systems and test management tools.
Keen eye for detail with top-notch problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Can work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus points for Agile development experience and ISTQB certification.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and run tests to check software functionality, usability, and performance.
Team up with different departments to understand project needs.
Create clear test plans based on requirements.
Uncover defects, bugs, and inconsistencies during testing.
Track and document issues using systems like JIRA or Bugzilla.
Work with developers to fix problems you find.
Give input on testability and quality during software design.
Keep stakeholders informed on software quality and release readiness.
Always look for ways to improve testing processes.
Stay up-to-date on the latest testing trends and tools.
