QE/ Software Testing Analyst   




  Capgemini Technology Services | California is looking for QE/ Software Testing Analyst



Job Description

Candidate should have 5+ years of experience in software engineering - QA testing
Must have - Expertise in Web automation using Selenium/ TestNG/ etc
Must have - Proficient in Java
Good to have - Experience in API/ Mobile testing

Experience using Version control (GIT), SQL, CI/CD Tools (Jenkins), Build Tools, (Maven, ANT, etc),
Debugging Tools (Charles/Fiddler), Agile Management Tool (JIRA), Test Management Tool (QMetry)
Must have excellent communication skills
This role is part of a QE team for manual/ functional testing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accountable for test scenario preparation, detailed test case reviews, test execution and defect reporting
Participate in quality management reviews to ensure adherence to all quality management plans and standards
Certify test results, and record problems and issues in accordance with the defect management plans
Validate product fixes and escalate issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process
Log defects against unexpected results

Participate in the test defect resolution process; this includes facilitating defect reviews and reporting test execution status
Escalate any risks and/or un-resolvable issues
Identify data need
Verify compliance of test process on project (e.g. making sure scripts and test data are being maintained)
Support User Acceptance Testing
