Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Test Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Python, BDD frameworks, and automating desktop-based applications. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in software testing methodologies and automation processes.

Requirements :

Hands-on experience in Python programming language for test automation.
Proficiency in implementing BDD frameworks like Behave, Pytest-bdd, or similar.
Strong understanding of software test automation processes and methodologies.
Ability to develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.
Experience in automating desktop-based applications is highly desirable.
Familiarity with tools such as Test Complete for desktop application automation is a plus.
Solid debugging skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities :

Develop and implement automated test scripts for desktop-based applications using Python.
Utilize Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks to create efficient and maintainable test scenarios.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and automate test cases accordingly.
Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report findings to stakeholders.
Enhance existing automation frameworks and tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.
Debug issues and collaborate with developers to resolve software defects.
Provide expertise in test automation best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the automation process.
