  Mitratech Holdings Inc. | Remote Mexico is looking for Software Testing Engineer



Job Description

We are hiring for a Software Engineer IV in Test to join our QA team and will work with both manual and automation testing in an agile and collaborative environment. This role is based 100% Remote in Mexico with benefits and company equipment provided.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform manual and exploratory testing against functionality developed by members of your agile team(s)
Work closely with the Product Owner and scrum team(s) to help deliver high quality features inside of agreed timescales
Provide technical mentorship and upskilling to scrum team members and across functional boundaries where appropriate
Contributing to a culture of high quality, personal ownership and customer focused execution
Cross train the resources across teams on the skill specialized
Contribute actively in the agile process

Primary Skills:

7+ years of experience in testing Web Applications
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in automation
Proficiency in authoring, reviewing, and executing manual test cases
Solid experience with C# and Selenium and Cypress
Should be an expert in Maven
Experience in Test Cases Management Systems like TestRail or Azure Test Plans
Experience in Agile process
Good in Functional testing
Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts, database testing.
Exposure to Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment practices. Jenkins is preferred.
Experience in modern source control systems (Git)
Experience in guiding an entry level resource
Should be able to design frameworks
Should be able to Troubleshoot when blocked on automation scripts, pipeline execution.
Good Knowledge on Non-Functional requirement testing.

Secondary Skills:

Agile, Scrum, TDD, BDD
Java, Selenium, Rest API, JavaScript, Web Services.
OO concepts and design patterns
Test Case automation using Selenium, Cypress, Java
Experience with risk, compliance and document control business technology
Experience with encryption technologies
JMeter is preferred for performance or any other performance testing tool is recommended
