QA Engineer/ Automation Testing   




  Infogain India Private Limited is looking for QA Engineer/ Automation Testing



Job Description

Candidate should have 3+ years of experience in Test Automation using Selenium
Experience in versioning software (preferably Github)
Strong programming skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Java)
Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber)

Deep understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices, including experience with different types of testing (e.g., unit, integration, system, performance, security). Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/ CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Travis CI)

Job Responsibilities-

Analyze user stories and develop comprehensive test scenarios for the requirements. Perform functional testing, analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to facilitate the resolution of issues. Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives to ensure that quality is a top priority throughout the development process

Identify regression scenarios from the functional testcases
Automate all the regression test cases using defined framework and data strategy.
Design, code & maintain automated scripts, functions, libraries, verifications.
Reduce manual/ repetitive tasks and assist with writing test automation cases
Plan, drive and develop automation framework along with building smoke, regression suite
Follow best practices when development test automation code including maintenance and documentation.
